2005年1月31日，八卦博客Dlisted创刊不久，创始人Michael K收到朋友Lahoma的一条消息：「Make Dorian Lord Hot Slut of the Day; she’s the most gorgeous woman in the world!」他照做了。这个决定让美剧《One Life to Live》里的反派女医生Dorian Lord，成了该栏目史上第一位”Hot Slut of the Day”。
这部ABC肥皂剧播了40多年，Michael追它纯粹是为了跟午休看剧的母亲有话题聊。Dorian是女主Victoria Lord的死对头，换过五任演员，Robin Strasser演了23年，成了标杆。Michael形容她是”能边做心脏手术边偷走你男人的致命诱惑”——虽然他坦白根本不知道这角色是哪个科室的。
